Another quick update

I have been doing a fair bit of work in the workshop and the results will be featured on here soon. I am going to aim on doing an update once a week probably on a Monday from now on.

Quick update

New stock for the railway along with the finising (hopefully) of the many unfinished projects are underway although other non railway jobs have been getting in the way somewhat. I am aiming on getting as much as possible done to allow me to do a video of the line sometime in early April.

New Year, New Stock

Despite the cold causing the workshop to be mostly unusable I have managed to get some of the kits I received for Christmas built.

A livestock wagon from a kit by David Mills. It will get far more detail before it gets paint.

A Phil Sharples bogie well wagon that will get a loco boiler load and lots of weathering.

This little Phil Sharples runner wagon will form part of the lines PW train.

A Houston Gate summer coach that will be mounted on bogies and will eventually be joined by a three car articulated set made from the 3 compartment version of this kit plus a 4-wheel guards coach.

 Hopefully Spring will come early and I can get back into the workshop to get them finished off.

Merry Christmas

With the big day almost upon us the owners and staff of the Merrytwit Light Railway would all like to wish you Merry Christmas

Quick update

I thought I had better put something up to really just say that nothing has happened. There has been far too much other things going on to give me any time to work on model railway stuff. I do have the first week in January off and I know there are a few kits under the Christmas tree for me so that week will have plenty of railway models in it.
A photo session on the railway for Christmas is planned for tomorrow or Thursday so some pictures will follow.
