Small progress IN PICTURES!

The station with its newly applied mortar colour
The station foundations are slowly taking shape, should have all the
hardcore in by Sunday when I hope to get some concrete in.

On top of this I am trying to sort out the chassis of the new IP engineering loco. Despite making sure that it was all square and built to the instructions the axle holes do not line up and the wheels are not on the axles squarely. I need to sort out a new chassis for it which may be scratch built or I may buy one in. I am also hoping to get started on the old Fendyke kits that I still have as well as finishing the current rolling stock with extra detailing.

Progress - a small amount at least

The station building has been virtually completed with the main slate work having a wash over of light grey to represent mortar. The roof will get some brown and green dry brushing to represent lichen and moss growth before several coats of varnish to seal it all up. Posters and signs will then follow along with the glazing and an interior for the small office.
The station foundation trench is complete with level pegs in and the hardcore slowly being added. I hope to get concrete in over the weekend of 22nd/23rd June with the concrete blocks following shortly afterwards. filling it with rubble and a top layer of cement will happen a week or so later. All of this is dependent on the weather of course.

The station building progress

The station has come on leaps and bounds with the main body of the building complete and now the roof is going on. Hopefully I will have a station to put it on by the end of the month.

The white is now done so on goes the green on the woodwork

All painted with the bench fitted and the door inside the
office fitted although you can't see it.

The roof is going on. The building is upside down to use
its weight to ensure a good bond as the glue sets
